SVS Basics on Ambushing the enemy stealthly

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle."

SVS specialize in this skill of two step kills, the two step is base on ambushing the enemy with stealth.

SVS have seen Ninjas set up an ambush too far from the enemy, causing the Ninjas to go into combat, this is not a good idea.

The two step kill is immediate, with the Ninja being close to react fast and conceal himself and the enemy immediately.

SVS say, consider not using trees to jump out of, to ambush the enemy, you can get injured or seen, Keep it basic don't jump from high places, you have less control in taking your enemy out, from jumping from high places.

Try to keep low in a concealed place two steps away from the enemies routes, look at channelled routes to ambush the enemy.

Always be in a ready posture, try not to lay down or rest, you will need to react immediately if the enemy come across your concealed position from behind.

Here are some basics areas to ambush from:

1) Any type of heavy Foliage
2) The Rivers banks
3) Dark shadowed areas
4) Around dark urban areas
5) Heavy populated areas
6) Street gardens, around cars or in cars and alleys
7) Through rooms in buildings
8) Around big rocks in rocky areas
9) Bales of Hay
10) At the doors of the enemies home

These are just some of the basic areas to consider.

You can use any type of weapon, SVS have a primary weapon ready and a secondary for back up.

Consider in having many concealed areas around the enemy area, that you can use for your ambush.

SVS like using tricks to make the enemy look in-depth, e.g., looking into the distance, so they can take out the enemy under there Nose.

Also SVS say, when ambushing its better at night and foggy or bad weather, this will help in taking your enemy out.

You need to be able, to see the enemy coming, you can use your partner to let you know what the enemy is doing.

If there is multiple enemy along the track, do not try to take them out one by one, its to messy, you will need away of taking them all out at once, you can do this with more members to take out all the men out at once or explosive tricks, SVS would avoid taking the groups out, they would wait till they all camped, then go for the target, something to consider.
